I cannot say enough about John and the service at Hollifield. Our transmission went out up on the Blueridge Parkway. We requested the tow truck driver to take us to the nearest dealership. He said he could if we really wanted to, but he recommended we go to Hollifield. We took him at his word and they immediately went to work troubleshooting our vehicle. We are from near Chicago and our dogs were at an AirBNB 80 miles away. When it was determined we would need a new transmission, John helped arrange a ride back to our rented house. The next day the news came that we needed a new transmission, and it would be sometime before we could get one. We rented a car to get home and called our "lifetime insurance warranty company". No surprise that they tried to get out of covering the repair. John took that off of our hands, called them, and the repair was covered the next day. Flying back down to get my van, John arraigned for me to be picked up at the airport in the morning. However, that evening after closing he delivered my van to my hotel in Ashville so I could get an early start home the next day. Above and beyond doesn't begin to describe Hollifield Automotive! I am forever grateful.

Nothing but Professional told me what all my Truck needed and gave me a price ... Told me when it would be ready and give me a call on the day they said they would that is was ready .. Put a new clutch in and a new part in the Transmission be honest these gears hasn't shifted as good as when it was new 260000 miles ago .. I wouldn't think about any other auto repair place in North Carolina that i would 100% trust like Holifields

These folks are fantastic, outstanding customer service right from the start. Needed some parts replaced and we all know how complicated things can get if that is your only car. They towed the car in, answered all my questions and made up a schedule. They were always very nice, even if I was calling frequently to get updates. Once my car was ready, they picked me up and I am back on the road. If I need any future repairs I know where I am getting it done, right here. Thank You!

I would just like to thank you for your assistance when one one of our managers coasted in with car issues last week. Alex looked over the Kia Soul. After a bit, the car started up fine and was able to make it into the dealership in Hickory. Our manager tried to pay a diagnostic fee, or some type of fee for his time.
